PETŘÍN

Several distinctive gardens on the one hill. Amazing views included.

Petřín Hill is one of the largest urban green areas and its slopes are an oasis of calm in the center of Prague. The Rose Garden, or rosarium, at the top of Petrin Hill, Nebozízek Garden and the Seminary Garden with more than 2,100 fruit trees are particularly magical.

Havlíček Gardens (Havlíčkovy sady)

This park, inspired by the Italian Renaissance, has fountains and water cascades, lakes, pavilions, statues and a charming grotto, as well as a unique view of the city. The charming Vineyard Gazebo surrounded by large vineyards and the Grébovka Pavilion garden café, with its unique replica of the original historic bowling alley from the 1870s, offer pleasant places to sit.

RIEGER GARDENS

This park, over a century old, shelters intimate nooks and places with wooded areas, open grassy areas, unusual vistas of the city and a large garden restaurant with comfortable seating in the shade of chestnut trees. 

Vineyards used to be located here, and all that remains today are parts of the original buildings: the Classicist lookout from the 1920s, renovated into a restaurant, and a three-sided obelisk of sandstone from around 1840.

FOLIMANKA

FOLIMANKA PARK

A peculiar park, under an overwhelming bridge but still quiet and welcoming. It is partly bordered by Prague's impressive old city walls and the Botic river runs right alongside it. Despite being small, it hides a few charming spots and offers two playgrounds and free sports courts where you can kick around a football or shoot hoops with the kids.

LETENSKÉ SADY

Letna Park

This extensive park with grassy areas, mature trees, a colorful assortment of bushes planted on the hillsides, and a long plane tree-lined avenue provides not only a pleasant to sit and relax, but also unparalleled views of the city, especially from the Hanavský Pavilion - a unique cast-iron building with a restaurant. In the park you can spend your free time participating in sports, walking, picnicking or relaxing in the summer garden restaurant in the Letná chateau in its eastern part. The park is located in the immediate vicinity of Louren Apartments.

STROMOVKA

Stromovka park - Prague´s "Central Park"

An oasis of peace and relaxation, an island of greenery in the midst of a noisy metropolis: All this and more awaits you in the Royal deer-park, better known as the Stromovka, Prague's largest park. This roughly 100 hectare (250 acre) site is open every day to a whole gamut of visitors. Here you will find Bohemian hipsters, lovey-dovey couples, joggers, in-line skaters and cyclists, families with kids of all ages, and dogs with their owners. From time to time you'll come across a wedding ceremony held under the romantic canopy of ancient trees. Stromovka park has its unmistakable charm and takes life at its own pace. The park is located in the immediate vicinity of the Exhibition Grounds and their Singing Fountain.

DIVOKÁ ŠÁRKA

Wild Sarka, a nature reserve

Divoká Šárka is a beautiful valley and nature reserve at the edge of Prague 6, so not far from the city center. You can find there total escape from the noise of the metropoly simply by taking a tram ride to the outskirts of the city.

This is a great place for a bike ride or a hike.

In the summer, there is a popular outdoor pool right in the middle of the valley.

PROKOPSKÉ ÚDOLÍ

Prokopské and Dalejské Valleys Nature Reserve

A popular tourist destination with Prague residents is the Prokopské and Dalejské Valleys nature reserve (Prokopské and Dalejské údolí) in the southwest area of Prague. The nature reserve is easily accessible by public transport. The western part of the park is formed by the Dalejské valley, which spreads along the Dalejský potok stream. From its confluence with the Prokopský potok stream the nature reserve is called Prokopské Valley.  An ideal place for long walks.

Yellow SPA

Prague Yellow Spa (Žluté lázně sport resort) is a natural multi-purpose sports facility that is located at the right bank of the Vltava embankment in the area of Podolí. On the area of ​​3.5 hectares there are facilities for different sports for all age groups and various types of restaurants and bars.

Adult visitors have the opportunity to play a lot of sports such as soccer in cage, pétanque, beach volleyball, table tennis, but also outdoor chess or try the so called indo board and slackline.

In the warm summer months you can swim in the Vltava river and you can also borrow a boat or a paddle boat. You can also rent in-line skates or scooters, which you can use on the adjacent bike path.

Yellow spa is now operating as a modern sports and relaxation center.

PRŮHONICE

Průhonice Chateau and park

The park surrounding Průhonice Chateau is one of the most beautiful in the Czech Republic. It's a prime example of landscape architecture in Europe, and is an extremely valuable botanical collection - the arboretum features over 1600 species of domestic and exotic trees and shrubs, as well as an exceptional collection of rhododendrons. The park is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
